FAQ

Vegan and Vegetarian?
Both Vegans and Vegetarians do not consume animal meat. A Vegan does not consume eggs,  dairy, and all other products derived from animals. A Vegetarian still consumes milk, eggs and dairy products. Our Bakery is considered to be both Vegan and Vegetarian since we don’t use any animal meat and animal derived products.

What is gluten free and what flour do we use?
A gluten-free diet is a diet that strictly excludes gluten, a mixture of proteins found in wheat and related grains, including barley, rye, and all their species and hybrids. Our products are all vegan with some gluten free options. We recommend going for just the vegan option, unless you have allergies and prone to stomach indigestion; since we use locally milled wheat  and whole wheat flour which are high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. For  gluten free options, we use a blend of cassava flour, tapioca flour, rice flour, coconut flour and almond flour. Please keep in mind icons on our menu before purchasing the breads : (V) Vegan, (GF) Gluten Free, (EF) Egg free, (DF) Dairy free, (SF) Sugar free.

What chocolate do we use?
We use around 60-70% dark chocolate, they are less sweet than normal chocolate ( our choco filling does not contain dairy or egg products)

How to store and expiry date?
Since we make bread the old fashioned way, we do not use any chemical additives, preservatives, or any dough conditioners in our breads, We keep our breads simple and natural because we care about the taste and nutrition. Therefore, products are meant to be consume as quickly as possible to ensure maximum freshness. Our bread typically last for 3-5 days in room temperature, however keeping  the products in an airtight container at cool/refrigerated temperature will extend the products shelf life for 5-8 days ( reheat them prior to consumption)

How to reheat the breads?
We recommend reheating them in a microwave for 30 seconds or in an oven for 3-5 minutes.

What sugar do we use?
we use coconut palm sugar on all the baked goods and a blend of palm and organic cane sugar on some of our fillings. If you are looking for a completely sugar free option, our banana breads are sugar free ( sweetness comes from the banana itself)

Can we do custom orders?
Right now we only serve what's on the menu, but if you would like to request for a specific quantity or flavor,  please contact our Wa admin for more details.
